    About Womart.pk

Womart.pk is a mission-driven e-commerce platform that provides women artisans and entrepreneurs across Pakistan the opportunity to showcase their products worldwide. From hand-crafted goods to home-based services, the platform was designed to support economic empowerment through accessible technology. Womart.pk especially targets the US market, offering women entrepreneurs a global customer base.

    The challenge .

In Pakistan, many women artisans and entrepreneurs face challenges like remote locations, limited infrastructure, and societal restrictions that hinder market access. Traditional retail and online models did not support their unique needs.

Womart.pk envisioned a platform that was secure, intuitive, and built to scale. The goal was to create a mobile-responsive, easy-to-manage portal that offered analytics, inventory control, and secure transactions—while being inclusive and accessible even in low-bandwidth environments.

    The solution .

DevDisruptors assembled a cross-functional team of six experts—including project managers, UI/UX designers, front-end developers, and backend engineers. We developed both a website and a mobile app interface, focusing on usability, speed, and accessibility.

    Key technical milestones included:

    • A CMS-backed front-end built with HTML, CSS, and JS
    • A scalable PHP-based backend with robust security protocols
    • Integration of order, inventory, and payment systems
    • Mobile-responsive design for accessibility across all devices

To ensure that Womart could operate smoothly post-launch, we provided documentation, backend dashboards, and analytics capabilities tailored to artisan needs.
